Instructions to Authors for Preparation of Manuscripts  to be submitted for consideration for publication in the Southwestern Entomologist. Click here to view or print the instructions.

The Southwestern Entomological Society was founded in 1976. The purpose of the society is to publish a refereed journal, the Southwestern Entomologist. This is a regional publication covering entomological research conducted in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Mexico.

Members meet annually in conjunction with the Southwestern Branch of the Entomological Society of America (ESA). In 2003, the society changed its name to the SOCIETY OF SOUTHWESTERN ENTOMOLOGISTS due, in part, to long-standing confusion between this and the Southwestern Branch of ESA. We hope this change will encourage more entomologists to join the society. See the MEMBERSHIP BROCHURE or the membership application to join the society.
